Villa Cap is a contemporary sea front villa located on the Cap Corse peninsula in the north of the island. With villages and hiking trails to discover nearby, this is the perfect base for your Corsican getaway.

The home is situated in a hamlet setting with a few other houses surrounding it and some restaurants and shops close by. None of these neighbouring buildings impact the villa’s breath-taking views however as the home looks directly over the dazzling blue sea. With a private, heated pool, cosy outdoor seating areas and a summer kitchen to cook and dine al-fresco, the garden has everything you could need to spend lazy days together in the sun.

As you head inside the villa the warm light flows through the home from the sliding doors. The decorative touches make the house feel like a welcoming family home where you can unwind and spend time together making memories. The main living area is located on the first floor and opens out on to spacious terrace with amazing views. Here you will find a large sofa, TV, feature fireplace and a dining table. The open-plan kitchen has been designed for sociable times.

There are three double bedrooms, two of which boast en-suite bathrooms, plus a bedroom with four single beds which would be ideal for a group of friends or kids to share. If you simply cannot wait to take a dip in the sea then just walk down the private steps which lead right into the refreshing sea in front of the villa. Nearby, Bastia beach 5km is a stunning pebbled beach or there is Plage de l'Arinella which is a quieter, long sandy beach.

Cap Corse is a unique and beautiful peninsula in northern Corsica. This is where you will find Villa Sur La Cote, a modern sea front home which is the ideal base for a trip with friends or family. You do not need to travel far from the villa to visit incredible beaches, a bustling city or enjoy stunning scenery on a morning walk. The villa is well-placed for visiting all that the north of Corsica has to offer, from natural beauty spots to cultural and historic attractions.

One of the main draws of Corsica is the pristine beaches. Whether you prefer a rugged, pebble beach or a sandy bay with water sports on offer, you will find it close by. If you are not feeling like a coastline walk then Cap Corse is also a great place for a coastal drive where you can take in the unbelievable views from the comfort of your hire car or motorbike!

The villa is also just 5 km away from Bastia which is a lively port city. Start at the Place St Nicolas which is the main square in town and is a shady, restaurant-lined spot, before winding your way down through the streets of the old-town. You can learn more about local history by visiting Bastia Museum which is housed in the impressive 15th-century citadel which once defended the area. The city also has a wealth of artisan shops and a busy market where you can buy local produce. 

Erbalunga is a little village just 6km away from the house which you should also add to your itinerary. This charming village has a rugged beauty and clings to the dramatic cliffside. The narrow streets and café filled squares lead down to the harbour which is still used by fishermen today as it has been for centuries. Artists flock to the village to paint or photograph the sea views and the ancient Genoese tower which is now in ruin.
