A beautiful and stylish country manor, set between the majesty of Mount Etna (the largest volcano in Europe) and the green Ionian coast, next to the cobalt-blue sea. This fascinating manor, whose oldest parts date back to the 15th century, stands in a large, 120-hectare estate rich with orchards and organic farming. The luxuriant garden with its finely designed landscape hosts precious species of exotic palms, carob trees, agaves and the fragrant Mediterranean forest: a paradise.

The eight suites, four on the lower floor which open onto the beautiful garden, and four on the upper floor which open onto the balcony, are exquisitely decorated with fine antique furniture in a distinctly Sicilian style, and include luxurious en-suite bathrooms, each with a bath or shower, stocked with Sicilian perfumes and toiletries. The bedrooms have both air conditioning and heating, and are fitted with ceiling fans, Wi-Fi and elegant original beds with fine, fragrant sheets, perfect for restful sleep. The setting is unique and offers the chance to live in a world apart, enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of an authentic aristocratic manor, savour a slower pace and take in the scents of the garden and the Sicilian countryside.

In the luxurious garden, there is a large, elegant swimming pool and, adjacent to it, the splendid orangery, the social heart of the manor, with its refined halls, spectacular dining room and upper floor with a breath-taking view of Etna and the valley. Further, in the orange grove, are the sauna and illuminated tennis court.

The villa includes two kitchens: a professional one (in the orangery) for staff use, and a kitchenette in the villa. Upon your arrival, you will find a colourful and lavish welcome basket replete with fresh Sicilian products and specialities from the manor. We are in the kingdom of the chef. You’ll be delighted with the delicious Sicilian dishes, carefully prepared for you; on request, you can also enjoy the most well-known international dishes. Staying at Villa Campriano is a unique sensorial experience, a delightful trip through the gastronomic soul of Sicily, with its old dishes from far-off peoples and cultures. You will have the opportunity to savour the multi-ethnic culture of Sicily, with a strong Mediterranean imprint, thanks to the authentic organically-grown ingredients produced on Sicilian farms, orchards and gardens, from home-made honey to preserves, from stone-oven-baked bread to local meats and fish. Lastly, on request, there is the cellar containing a careful selection of quality wines from both Italy and the rest of the world.

If you do manage to tear yourself away from the paradise of Villa Campriano, just a few kilometres away you will find the spectacular Ionian coast, Taormina, Isola Bella, the beach at Giardini Naxos (the perfect place for aquatic sports, restaurants, bars and night life) and, further still, the Etnean villages, Aci Trezza, the wonderful Acireale, and then the volcano, the majestic Etna, and many other places to discover.

In the villa there is a well-stocked wine-cellar and are 100% committed to organic produce and ingredients in the kitchens. A flat-rate for food, soft-drinks, beer and house- wines at € 80,00 p.p./day and at € 50,00 p.p./half- days. Children up to 5 years of age completed eat for free, those between 5 and 10 years pay 50%. This is a “deal” for the guests and makes life easier!

Taormina, one of the most famous towns in Sicily, is located high atop Mount Tauro. The magnificent Mediterranean blue bay and the nearby smouldering Mt. Etna merge into a spectacular view that can be seen from almost any point in the city. A renowned archaeological destination backed by incredible history, Taormina is home to one of the most famous Greek Theatres in the world. This remarkable theatre hosts "Taormina Arte," the town's annual summer international arts festival of film, music, dance and theatre. Taormina is a haven for tourists, offering a great number of restaurants, bars, clubs, entertainment and sport venues. Take a stroll along the Corso and be sure to stop at one of the local cafés for a taste of granite (the original version of Italian ice!) and a piece of frutta martorana(marzipan sweets).

The distinctive beauty of Syracuse, rich with history and artistic presence, was featured in Giuseppe Tornatore's movie "Malena", starring Monica Bellucci. Since 1914, from early May to the end of June, the city has staged ancient comedies and tragedies in its Greek theatre. A stroll through the streets of Ortigia leads to the fascinating baroque cathedral that incorporates an ancient temple to Athena. Make sure you check the Fountain of Arethusa, site of the Greek legend.
Noto is the undisputed capital of Sicilian Baroque. Generally listed as one of the 'must-see' tourist attractions on the East coast of Sicily. The town was declared humanity heritage by UNESCO in 2002. Here you can enjoy the most beautiful non equipped beaches of the island, Eloro, Cittadella or Calamosche inside the natural reserve of Vendicari, which is also home to thousands of migrating flamingos and sea turtle nests. If you prefer the comfort of equipped beaches, check the ones in Noto Marina or San Lorenzo. If you are in this area on the third week of May, take note of the famous and suggestive "Infiorata", a picturesque festival to welcome the spring, where local artists work overnight to prepare colourful real flower carpets all over the streets. Other sites worth visiting in the surroundings of Noto (by car) include Noto Antica - the older town - Modica, Palazzo Acreide, Ragusa - a similarly-appealing Baroque town - the necropolis at Pantalica and Ispica Caves.
